This applies to the USA. I don't see how this could affect Canada?

Preppers are a threat to the government and the the control that the government has over it's people.

yes it will happen here, they the government must control the people.
the government can not have people thinking for themselves and be independent.
they have to keep you dependent on them....if your independent they loss control.
thinking for yourself in a no no.

really a nasty response, and although I think it can and will happen here as well, I like Grouchypreppers answers much better. Better language, similar content.

that being said, eartbound, WildE is spot on. points of view are always appriciated and while im probably the biggest clown on the forum (with the exception of oldschool who does actually work as a childrens performer dressed as a clown) you don't just call somebody a fool because opnions differ although your comment 'tails between your legs' reminds me fondly of what i used to do in the mirror before that cow Jodie Foster shot me in the chest!!! This place is full of passion as you can see. Some of it fun, some not so nice. My suggestion is that you try to read through a lot of the threads just to get an idea of what they are about. In a lot of causes what happens in the US does effect us here in Canada. To what degree is anyone's guess at this point. However there are some very educated people on the boards that I hope will take the time to maybe post a few links to support their beliefs. Take every posted with a grain of salt. This board is about opinions.
