Anyone ave any good spots for backcountry camping, looking for ideas for the summer or spring to take the kids.

Killarney is an excellent suggestion and one of the ones I would have said, enjoy.
Maybe check out the Bruce Trail as well.

I'm fairly new to the area but where is the trans Canada trail round here
Just an idea good thing to support
