Just spent about 3 hours shoveling. I might hit the beer store later but aside from that I'll be staying in.

How is everyone else contending with the recent snow storm?

Hunkered down inside here - waiting for the snow to stop. Thank goodness we have a snow blower because that's a LOT of snow!

So far, its looks like we are only going to get the edge of the storm but prepping for it none the less, glad that we will have the weekend to dig out from under it.

stuck at my office, not working on getting everything gone as fast as I should have.
Anybody in Bowmanville want some nice fresh yummy Chili?
-- come on by with a shove and or a snow plow, you can eat lots of chili to get me out!
stupid rental car, no normal gear in there, no shovel, no preps, no winter gear, siggh..
all season tires on the thing and a front end as big as an escalade but a car with no clearance, ain't Chev smart!!

I've been shovelling and helping the neighbours get their cars up the slight incline on our unplowed street. I'm glad I've got AWD, though one of my neighbours got stuck in his 4x4 truck.

Be safe everyone and don't over do the shoveling.
We're thinking of you all on the east coast.
Hope its not as bad as they think it may be.
Take good care!

And to think I was just complaining that it's too hot to work outside! 30C in New Zealand (86F if you prefer old money...) Sometimes I don't know when I'm well off! Stay safe & warm, people!

spent over 3 hours out "shoveling"....may being social took up part of that time. It was a mini party type feeling on the street today with everyone out helping each other. No one can get off my street cause of the snow.

I'm glad I've got AWD

I hear you there brother. It's days like today that it really makes a difference.

These are the type of snow falls I remember in York Region, GTA from 10 years. Seems like the last few years have been mild.

Sounds like everyone got a bit of exercise today - so I guess there is something positive from all this? This weekend (GTA and surrounding area) is suppose to warm up a bit but stepping outside for two seconds and I instantly reminded of what country I'm in: CANADA. Gotta love it.
