I attended the October workshop and was very impressed. The Mathers are beyond welcoming and accommodating. They're both a wealth of knowledge and experience, and happy to help you avoid many of the pitfalls they experienced when first developing their own sustainable lifestyle.
If this workshop wasn't happening on my birthday weekend, I'd be attending all over again!
Whats the address
thanks
I'm not comfortable sharing someone's address on an open forum.
But i can tell you they're near Tamworth Ontario.

Good call.
While this event date has since passed I know they'll have many more. As far as I'm concerned it's worth the money and time. I highly recommend you attend their workshops in the future.

I believe the Mathers are repeating their fall workshop.
Does anyone know if they're reaching out to our prepper community again with the opportunity for a lower price/group discount?
I'd like to attend again and have 3 friends who want to join me.

There is a possibility of a group discount for CPN members!
Cam and Michelle can do a workshop for us on either October 25 or November 15.
The cost would be $90.00 for 8 - 9 people...$75.00 for 10 - 14 people.
A $50.00 deposit is required, with the balance due the day of the workshop.
The price includes lunch and refreshments.
If you are interested, reply in this thread, and I can try to get this going.
Cool, the timing is always rough... right in the middle of whitetail bow season, or in whitetail rifle season, but I'll work on getting a group of 3-5 together.
It's coming... and it's going to hurt!
Okay, I have 2 that are 100% confirmed for Nov 15, and 2 more who are 80% confirmed, for the same date (just depends on how their fall election goes and whether or not they - a couple - win their seat).

It sounds like a few dates are floating around here. I wanted to point out that I'm doing the same thing with Cam and Michelle on November 1st with the same discount.

Please note that I'm not making a cent from this event. Having met Cam and Michelle personally in addition to attending this event all I can say is that this is a 'must attend' day for preppers. They're very cool people and the wealth of knowledge that you'll receive will go a long way towards your prepping and self-reliant endeavors...

Thanks Che,
I actually prefer the date of your event and will push my group to change their plans.
It's coming... and it's going to hurt!
OK...good to know.
If anyone is interested in the October 25th date for the CPN, please reply in this thread or you can PM or email me.
I will give it until August 22nd. If there is not enough interest I will cancel the event that we had spent our time figuring out.

Sorry Denob 😀
Nothing personal, lol, Oct 25th just clashes with municipal elections (which some of my group are running in) and the mid-Nov one will likely just be too cold/wet/snowy for folks to really enjoy. Not to mention, it eats up a day of whitetail rifle season.
Regardless of which date anyone chooses, just get your spot locked up asap. This is a must-attend for any real prepper, or anyone serious about self-reliant alternative energy, or anyone serious about bare-bones agriculture.
It's coming... and it's going to hurt!
Well, what can I say...that's just the way things go.
Hopefully, there will be enough other people interested that this can still go ahead.
If it flops after making arrangements based on a request, I wouldn't dare ask them again for special pricing on an extra workshop.
