I'm going to tour a retired Canadian Government Military bunker just outside of Ottawa on August 17th. If anyone wants to come let me know.
This is a guided tour costing $14 per person. This is the associated tour costs (I'm not charging anything).
The plan will be to meet at a local restaurant at 12pm (on that patio if it’s available). The restaurant is called The Swan ( http://www.theswanatcarp.ca/ ) and located two minutes from the bunker. We will leave the restaurant just before 1pm to make the 1pm pm tour.
As a prepper I'm really looking forward to seeing what the government has created from a bunker standpoint. Perhaps a few of you will get some ideas for your own bunker plans? The official website for the bunker is http://diefenbunker.ca .

Toured it a few years ago. Neat time capsule of the cold war era. Lots of fun. Going there in August you will find it refreshingly cool when you are 5 stories underground. 🙂
