If there is enough interest, I will put together a meet & greet at a restaurant on the Friday night before the Survival Expo - Friday August 7th. However you are responsible for paying for your own meal.

I know that there are several people that have booths in the show that are going to be in town to set up on the Friday. I thought it may be nice for some of the members of CPN to get a chance to chat before the show madness starts. This is for all members of CPN or any other group/person that may be reading this, it is not just for vendors or speakers.

PM me if you are interested
cheers

I'd be up for that. I'm driving down Friday during the day.

I would not mind coming down for the dinner.
Do you have a place in mind?

Please give more details

Hello
I don't have a place picked out yet as I am trying to get an idea of numbers first. If there are say, 30 people then the place would most likely be different it there are only 6 people. Also if there are children that will make a difference as well.

I will be trying to make it close to a "major" street with easy directions and parking.

After reviewing multiple menus, locations, and costs as well as the smaller number of people interested. I think this was one of my dumber ideas.

Going to cancel the dinner meet & greet idea. 🙁

Nope...not a dumb idea at all.
My guess is most people are just still unsure of their schedule...like me for instance, but I am an exhibitor and I just can't predict how long it may take me to set up the booth.
I would keep the idea alive and wait it out...keep a few places in mind and reservations can usually be made up to a few hours ahead of time.

Not dumb at all! I think it's a great idea. Heck, it could just be a coffee store with one other person as far as I'm concerned. Anyone still interested in doing this?

thank you for your kind words

I am waiting to here back on what time the set up is over. There are 2 restaurants close by with parking: Outback Steakhouse & Tony Roma's. There actually a lot of restaurants in the area but some of it gets a bit confusing getting there due to the way the city is laid out.

My wife and i would be interested in this as well. There are a few places to grab a bite or drink that are not too expensive.
