Want to do the range thing again?

I just bought a Ruger Mini 14 and that should be fun to try....

I'd be up for that. Anyone else in the area interested in doing a little familiarization time with firearms and shooting?

I'll bring the real Lee Enfield ammo this time (not those weak range rounds) for anyone who wants to know what a full sized rifle bullet feels like. It's a good experience to have because just about anything else you pick up (besides a shotgun) will have less kick.

Maybe I should bring the shotgun too, so people can see how it patterns?

The next available date for me would be Oct 21. Is everyone ok with moving it till then to accomodate Thanksgiving?

Have to get back to you on that. My niece is down this weekend for Thanksgiving but I don't know the next date she will be down.

Unless I can find someone else to look after my mom.

Another new Hamilton prepper here.

I would also be up for a coffee/beer meeting with like minded people in the Hamilton area.

Instead of talking about meeting, why don't we try to get together this weekend (oct 6-7-8) or next (oct 13-14). As I work afts, the weekends work best for me.

Thanks...Mark

Welcome to the Boards Marksgood. We are planning a meeting for Oct 07. The plan at this time is to meet at the Tim Hortons at Mud Street and Centennial at 11 am. We discussed going to a range so hopefully you would be up for that. Let us know a bit about yourself.. age, skills, interests etc.

Hey Guys,

I am 40, single dad to an English Bulldog, living in Hamilton. I have previous bushcraft experience but, after 20 yrs or so away, I am definately out of practice. I have just recently become serious about Prepping, but with a limited budget am only able to do it slowly. Hoping to talk to others and weed out some useless info (dis-information?). Recently came across MAINEPREPPER on youtube and have started that fire to get my S(HTF) in gear.

Sat, the 11th at Mud works for us (dog and myself).

Thanks...Mark
