Speaking of prepping on the cheap, I just sealed away 16 kg of rice in mylar bags with oxygen absorbers for less than $20 (20+ year shelf life) - I'll show you all how if you don't already know at the next meeting, if you are interested.
It's better to prep for something that may never happen than not prep for something that does.

Mom changed thanksgiving since I told her that the range was out. Since I am cooking the meal, not sure if I can skip out to make the meet. 🙁

Right now we are looking at 4 including yourself. The choice of Thanksgiving weekend wasn't the best but it will still be good to meet, have a coffee and share some thoughts. I plan on making the next meet for Nov 4

It was good to welcome a few new faces and to see some of the older faces once again. It was a good meeting and thanks all for coming out. I am looking at Nov 4th as the next meeting. I'd like to set it up as a skills day. Also a bit of show and tell and equipment questions and thoughts.
