Can we get together at 1300 hrs. (1pm)? And I think we discussed Fire & Water as 2 possible skills stations to practise.

Yea sorry I missed this one, thanksgiving is usually pretty busy. Let me know when the next one is, I'm in for sure - maybe theme it food storage? Unless we go to the range again. I want to show off my new Mini 14

Hi All... just wanting to bump this thread up. Nov 4th will be the next meeting date. We will be looking at different methods of firestarting. Please bring what you have in your kits. We will practice and see what works best. Also bring along what you have in your kits for water purification. Show and tell and discussion. Meet time will be 1300h. I haven't decided on a place yet so if anyone has ideas lets hear them. Looking forward to seeing everyone again.

Cheers JAB

Any location ideas or will it depend on what happens this week with the storm?

Good to hear from you mustangmama and glad you will be able to attend. It's time to get a show of hands to see how many will be attending the coming meeting. I will post the location either tomorrow or Tuesday. Topic is firestarting so bring something to practice with and also show and tell of any EDC water purification device you may have. Looking forward to seeing you there.

JAB

I'm there. Looking forward to setting things on fire. Maybe somewhere near the lake so we can put our water treatment to the test?

Where can you get a good deal on .308 ammo in bulk? Just thinking I could use a rifle and thinking a .308 would be a good choice. Any help would be greatly appreciated - Ty for your input. Oh btw what would be a good reliable rifle to fire them from 🙂
