Hey everyone, I just wanted to properly introduce myself to your community.

My name is Nathan Stevenson.

I am an owner of Eletti Enterprises Inc. Eletti Enterprises Inc. is the parent company that my partners and myself operate our several initiatives under. I mention this because we have a business you may be interested in, this business is Arc Continuity (ArcContinuity.com). I will further disclose information on our services in the business advertisement section of this forum. I believe many of you may have great interest in it and the services it provides. As well, we sell properties in Canada and own/operate a dog kennel (Renee's Walking Paws) among other initiatives scheduled for the future.

I am not new to the preparedness community/industry and have been a "Prepper" for several years (3-4). I love this industry and way of life and I hope to share that enjoyment with other like-minded Canadians. Speaking of which I am a resident of Sutton (West), Ontario.

I look forward to meeting the community and reading many of the posts that already have peeked my interest.
I'm also always interested in forming relations and even to the extent of preparedness communities. Me-lady and I live on 50 acres so we would more than welcome the idea of hosting some events/meetups on this property. Though we are currently in the process of expansion of our kennel (not sure how much space will be left over), we do have a barn that could be useful as shelter, though not heated, better than just being outside. We could arrange a propane heat system if there was interest.

Excuse me for my rambling, as I said I look forward to this forum.

Thank you and a pleasure to meet all of you! 😛

Your web site says a lot about ya to me
It screams brand new and provides very little real information.
It provides no actual products or services described in detail.
It gives no idea of your qualification to teach or set up a plan for protection or survival of a family or group.
It is the same with your personal introduction needs a bit more

If you are a prepper you should already know about our cagey feelings towards new comers.
This just looks like another business out to take advantage of the new wave of prepared minds that are beginning in the world.
It seems every day there are more preppers and more companies out to get there piece of the pie
If I am wrong sorry but you need to prove your self here your got a tough crowd, a lot of us are close nit and serious.
Speaking purely for myself I'm a veteran and very much show me.

Thanks for your input. We have a posting on the business section of this forum and the same issues have been brought to our attention. We wish to remedy that but I must admit that parts of our services will no longer be offered to the public. We have a great pool of people we can work with and we wish to pursue those members.

I'm well aware of the people on this forum from many "horror stories" shared with my by ex-members that have had the same issue with this forum, that you state. An over-active sense of paranoia and lack of welcoming into the community seems to be a consensus which is furthered by your very advice. 😆 Non-the-less I wish to make an attempt, even solely, to enter this community and give it a shot. There is always a lot to prove when meeting new people. It is the reasoning we have decided to reserve several of our offerings for Masons only. At least, in Masonry, we have brothers that are already assured of our character and we don't have the same issues we've run into here. Fortunately, and this is the recurring problem with most of business and society, people want "qualifications" and pass judgement based on them and pay no regard for the merits of the individual(s). Thus we are led back to our brothers-in-trust.

Thanks for the heads up MuleSkinner! I look forward to meeting more people and getting a better feel of the general publics feelings towards prepping. It seems that our great experience with the U.S. has little contributing lessons that are applicable to the Canadian side of the industry. Thus, we have a lot to see and learn from you guys.

Hi and Welcome Nathan.

Hope you have a good time on the forums and become as engaged in the community as you seem to wish.

Unfortunately while not necessarily as pessimistic as Mule Skinner... i do agree with him that your website sets off all sorts of alarms for me. It's just a little too vague. But since you're also not really pushing any questionable products/services and the site is clean without cling-on advertising, i'm willing to give you the benefit of the doubt and see how it all comes together as you get established.

I'm often in Peterborough visiting family. I'd be interested in taking a nice road trip up to Georgina (sp?) to check you guys out. Always nice to meet another prepper and check out anyone working on interesting projects.

It's coming... and it's going to hurt!

Hi Nathan and welcome. With respect to the above comment would this be a leased arrangement or would you be willing to give up use of your land for free to host free events?

Definitely would be up for free. Obviously with consideration to what defines events. Not looking to have a Bush rave or anything and no shooting or hunting, scares the dogs here at the kennel.

That's understandable.

Haha, yea. We also have a classroom space. We're expanding the business and required a classroom for training classes so potentially people could use this as well. It's approx 12x14. We still need to get tables and chairs. But it's lighted, insulated and heated.

I should mention as well, approximately 25 of the 50 acres is forested, could be good for some wilderness classes. As well we own properties all over Ontario so if people were interested in grouping together to share the property for hunting, camping, training, etc, we would be glad to split a rental price among how ever many people. That may or at not be of interest to anyone.
