Those were cool hide aways. But, they do make you wonder about prepping a good hiding hole in your house. We can't all afford expensive safe rooms, but I know I've thought of building a spot to hide if someone got in and a hidden exit attached.
I might not be a carpenter, but think I can pull it off. I think the exit part is important because if you can't afford a bulletproof safe room, it's important not to be trapped. The ones we see on TV they sit tight waiting for police to rescue them. We might not have that luxury.
