I am very interested in finding someone that is either willing to sell a few acres or rent a few in a northern location. I am wanting land that is north of HWY 7 and located between Peterborough to Pembroke. I would like the property to have trees on it and I want to be able to build on the property. I want to use this location as a place to bug out or somewhere to keep a bug out stash or possibly to a good place to camp or go to on the way to somewhere if the shit hits the fan. I would also be willing to work with someone or a few people to purchase land for this use together. Anyone have any ideas about this or even better somewhere they know for sale. I am kinda a little on the poor side right now so I am talking a little more affordable. Thanks also this is my first time on here writing I have been reading for sometime now. I am in the Belleville area and wanting to start working hard for my family to get our prepping on the right track!

Welcome KMEready and greetings from Northern Ontario. The real Northern Ontario, Pembroke and Peterborough are Southern Ontario. It's all perspective but North starts at North Bay. Regardless, welcome and I hope your search goes well.

I use http://www.realtor.ca/index.aspx?cul=1 the map section to keep an eye on that area. You can adjust your search using size of property, price etc.

Good luck on your search
