Farmgal . What about an informal get together of like minded people at a camp ground.
People bring there own food and drinks. No schedule , no particular topics maybe a show and tell.
Just a relaxing weekend of camping and sharing ideas?
I am not up in that area to workout a place or date....but i would be of the mind set to to make the trip if something
like that was arranged.

My family would have interest in this. Always balancing family time and prepping time so a campground would afford both.

Camping with the kids is a great intro to skills training for both the kids and myself. Practicing my ferro rod use, splitting wood, outdoor cooking / living, knot practice, tarpology, hiking, tracking (would love to learn more), navigation. Lots of things to do and learn informally.

That said, the Ontario Parks are pretty booked. Bon Echo, Charleston Lake are nice. Frontenac is great but takes an interior canoe camping mentality.

Hi folks. 4 thought here. Also in the Kingston area and would be very interested in meeting up with other like minded folks to compare , discuss etc. Thoughts on location, time etc . I am a new to this forum . What is the usual method in setting up meetings when email addresses are not, for good reasons, shared.
