My fiance's triathlon training has been going well, but her running isn't where she needs it to be so we'll be working on that Fri night & Sat morning.

Hi, im new here... have read a lot, learned some and hope to share. I believe i will be attending on saturday. looking forward to meeting some of you.

Spinkz79 and I went and checked out Richters today - what a great place! We have several options for meeting in case of bad weather so we are going ahead regardless - rain or shine.

Please park on the east side of the building. If it's not raining we will be meeting under the trees on the west side of the building in front of the brick house. If it is raining we will be in the greenhouse - come in the front door and you will find us to the left.

Please be advised that is is supposed to rain. It is quite warm and humid in the greenhouse so dress appropriately for indoors and outdoors.

We'll meet up at around 10 am. The owner of the greenhouse is a very knowledgable man who will do a talk (around 11am-ish) on the top 5 herbs for preppers and will be able to answer any questions. There is NO COST for the meet. However it would be nice if you could patronize the store while we're there. There are lots of potted herbs, dried herbs, seeds and other gardening items for sale - a gardeners paradise!

We will have a show and tell table so if you have anything you want to share please bring it along - it doesn't have to be fancy! I am planning to bring my vacuum sealer and jar attachment for anyone who wants to see it and try it. Spinkx79 is bringing some mylar bags and will do a quick demo on how to pack food. Wilde is bringing some homemade stoves. Please don't be shy!

You can bring something to share for lunch if you like - please bring an ingredient listing - some people have allergies and some of us will want the recipe!

There are fold up chairs available and picnic tables but if you want something more comfortable bring your own.

Can't wait to meet you all there!!!

Really upset that I can no longer meet everyone this Saturday. 🙁 My one and only sitter has backed out at the last minute to head out of town. I was really looking forward to going to this and am very disappointed! I hope there will be another in the near future that my husband and I can attend!

I think it would be good to record any events like this and have them available for others.

However, in respect to everyone, I would have to ensure that everyone agrees to being filmed, just incase they walk in front of the camera.

I thought about that too, it should not be a problem. The speaker will be in front of us facing us on the other side of a table.
We can setup your cam front and centre and let it record just him.
