Ottawa or Eastern Ontario area

Hey supermag,
although I don't usually get to the Ottawa area coffee meets, there is usually a day long meet in the summer near Limoges.
Hopefully you can make it to that one.

Do you know when & where exactly
am away a lot in summer can try to work it in if I know more

I am in west end of Ottawa. Limited in travel as I do not own a vehicle.

hi supermag, it normally takes place in july but there is not a set day, its typically on a sunday and includes a potluck etc, but the spring meet is normally in the city and is a coffee or or a unch, no date picked at this time.

hi whitebear, the spring and fall meets are normally in the city, only the big summer one is in the forest

only time I've been to the forest is to go to EOHC now EOSC

The spring one often is timed out to swap spring plant splitting/seeds, I have been known to bring in bags of farm compost as well if you garden, if not, don't worry, we talk about lots of other things as well.

I live in the Perth area. I am doing bushcraft with my family this winter. We will be doing a winter overnighter around the March break ........... it may be earlier depending on snow levels and such. More snow the better ........... snow is beautiful. Our place is very open to helping others .............. starting with our neighbors and working outwards. Please PM and let me know how you would like proceed.

I'm in Ottawa (West end) and have been learning about and preparing for about 2 years. I'm definitely going to keep my eyes open for a posting about the spring meeting. Myself and my husband will be there, now that we know that meetings in the area exist. That's so great!

Supermag & Whitebear (& all): If anyone still wants to meet up for a coffee before the spring meeting, that would be nice too.

I also live in Ottawa and open to a quick get together just about any time... except for Maple Syrup season... or the spring turkey hunt... or the fall whitetail hunt. lol

Whitebear and Oddmott, coffee sounds good. I know there's some kind of private message system on here but I've never used it. I'll give it a shot. If you don't hear from me today, means it didn't work but you can msg me 🙂
