Hi folks! We absolutely do not want to have a serious burn now or in a collapse or emergency situation. The pain is unbelievable, even with the very best of pain medications. And treating them to ensure the best possible outcome requires IV antibiotics and specialized care and facilities. Many people still die from burns. If you like youtube videos, please feel free to wander over and take at look at the latest video I posted about my experience on a burn unit with a prisoner 🙂 Prepper Nurse

Thanks for the video prepper nurse. that would be a truly daunting task even under ideal conditions, and an absolute nightmare post event. It makes you truly appreciate what some of the residents of these conflict areas around the world are experiencing. Treatment of burns was actually lower on my list after lacerations, broken bones, even puncture wounds. not any more! Thanks again
woodbooger, thank you so much! I'm so glad you found it helpful. Excellent point about what people in conflict areas of the world are experiencing - I've never thought of it that way. Please let me know if there's a topic you would like me to cover in a video 🙂 Prepper Nurse
