Just finished watching this. Scared the blank out of me. Hope whoever watches, it does the same. We should be very afraid.

The first thing I do when I watch or read anything is to consider the source. We can never get to the truth of something if we don't verify the information we hear or read.
The people on that show back up their claims with... nothing. No citations, no references, nothing of the sort. Other than Rickards' claim, there are no records whatsoever that there is such a thing called Project Prophecy. I could claim that I was abducted by reptilian aliens and have the same amount of proof that he has.

The finance show itself doesn't get great reviews from people who've been scammed by their advice. My recommendation is to take the video with a MASSIVE grain of salt, and I'm going to do more research tonight on the matter.
I agree with some points presented, but just like RT said ~ they need more proofs to back it. The one thing that makes me raised my eyebrow is the name.... project what? They should have given it a better name.
Regret comes last, if it comes early its called registration!

When nothing happens, the world will laugh at you.
When SHTF, what will happen when they found out you got supplies?
I am a fan of stats and analytics.
I do some work with data mining and science on the side.
Here is what is possible, and remember knowing this an org could use this knowledge to plant info and start something.
I will explain as best as I can.
Big Data is a buzzword, or catch-phrase, used to describe a massive volume of both structured and unstructured data that is so large that it's difficult to process using traditional database and software techniques.
Algorithms and centers are setup to gather data and understand it and see patterns.
It is said that know that many governments around the world are collecting this data and watching trends online they can sort of predict things.
Example:
Social media big data. By monitoring what is said and when on social media after a certain threshold of posts and pattern of words are posted you can start to predict a change in government leadership or an uprising in 3rd world countries.
That is to say your algorithm has identified patterns and given you a percentage of a chance of outcome.
If you are still with me, it is then possible to try to avert things by adding into conversation or using responsive content sway conversation.
you could also use these patterns to start something and watch it play out, if your system can give you a high chance of outcome based on other examples it has seen.
So the short of it, it may be able to predict things, but it is tied into big data.
