For any and all those interested we're having a provincial meet follow-up on Saturday, September 7th at 12 noon. I should have a copy of the complete video - of the entire event on a flash drive if you care to have a copy - just make sure to bring your laptop.

The event will be at the British Arms Pub located at 29 Dunlop St E, Barrie, Ontario. Map Link: https://maps.google.com/maps?q=29+Dunlop+St+E,+Barrie,+ON

Looking forward to a casual afternoon on the patio with like-minded preppers and to follow-up on what turned out to be a great weekend.

I for one live a little too far too make it, but I am sure that everyone on the board would benefit from those videos.
Perhaps I can get them to post here for everyone to view...I have some options available to send large files.

Would enjoy seeing the video if it gets posted. There is a surplus/outdoor store just down the street from the British Arms if you have time to kill before/after the meet up. Angies Surplus, across from the Cenotaph. http://www.angiesoutdoor.info/

I would love to present the videos to you. Lucas, from Buroak Wilderness Skills, filmed the entire event with promises over the last year of getting me a copy. Initially I was quite grateful and was looking forward to the footage. After countless emails it seems it's not going to happen. I'm not sure why and I've even offered him cash.

A crew that came out to this years event that's connected to Karen Stephenson, an edible wild food expert, seems to be doing the same. This crew, Terry and Lucas from Canadian awareness.org, captured some awesome footage from the Sunday of the event - again with promises of giving me access to the footage. Their actions have no reflection on Karen Stephenson - she's an awesome person that keeps to her word.

Needless to say and a few emails later Terry and Lucas with no response - it doesn't look like it's going to happen with them either. You'd think I'd event get an email?

I'm severely disappointed to the point where I'm actually going to purchase and record everything on my own moving forward. Lucas, from Buroak Wilderness Skills and Terry and Lucas from Canadian awareness have no credibility as far as I'm concerned and while their initial motives may have been good it seems they failed miserably with respect to their word....

Angie is a nice women and I highly recommend going there if you're looking for some used, military surplus - however, another player is new in town and with millions of investment dollars is quickly dominating the market in Barrie: Cabelas....

There's plenty of groups 'in Ontario'. Some paid. Some free. I don't know of any specific group in 'Barrie' per-say. Be mindful of the paid ones as there are many prepper schools that rip you off.

If and when there's enough interest a group will likely be started there. Unfortunately it seems most of the action is in Toronto and the surrounding areas right now....

Huh...you too eh?
Like you, I was a presenter at the first meet in Huntsville.
I was asked if I could be filmed, and I agreed...provided that ALL of the filmed presentations would be shared among ALL the groups that were involved with the meetup.
It seems however, that those that agreed to this did not keep their word.
I was not able to attend the 2014 event at Ark II, but enjoyed the videos posted on the Ontario Preppers Youtube channel, as well as the interview you gave on the Barefoot Bushcraft podcast.
Keep up the good work in regards to these annual events and look forward to the announcement for the 2015 meet.
