I was joking... sort of. I was reading some other posts today and it seems as though preppers are more cautious than the average. I wonder if it's because we are more aware... too many conspiracy docs perhaps.

One can never see enough conspiracy docs, lol. Now any one that lives in Toronto by chose, hummm,,, I don't know about that. When I turn 18 I got the hell out of town.

I actually moved to Toronto after having lives in 4 other cities. This is the first city where I am truly happy. This is the city where I could get a variety of good jobs. Met my wife here. Had my first child here. Bought a house here. I like the people here.

I know Toronto bashing is a national sport, but this city has millions for a reason. Haters gonna hate.

I think Toronto is listed as the most multi-cultural city in Canada, if not North America. You never have to leave, just travel to a different part of the city and you're in a different country, Little Italy, Greece, India... I love Toronto especially the Big Carrot, lots of vegan, organic options, and lots of free activities, good thing cause you could go broke trying to experience everything. But I wouldn't want to live there, I'm easily distracted and directionally challenged so getting home might be a problem 😉

thanks buddy...thought it might come across as heartless, but ive got kids, wife etc and they are my priority.

I shake my head when I look at what the Preppers on youtube show in their videos. I see all their guns along with their faces and the faces of their wives/girlfriends. Paranoid or not this is something I would never do. Even on this website I write as though Big Brother was reading everything that I write.
I am totally amazed that people would video their preparations and post them for everyone to view as well as telling neighbors and friends about the steps they have taken.
No one but my wife and I know what we have done, what we are going to do and where we are going to do it and it will stay that way. When the SHTF and I believe that I can help someone else I will give them the opportunity to join us but until then, not a chance.
There is a great show/series that I have been watching lately called MI-5 out of England. It was made a couple of years ago but it is pretty darn up to date on what is going on and it shows just how invasive Big Brother is and can be. I bought and downloaded the series from itunes and have enjoyed every episode and actually learned a few things in the process.

I have told only the people that will be coming with me if/when shtf. i have a wife and 3 little boys that will be counting on me to keep them safe. It also helps that all of my preps are not even at my home except firearms and ammo, and only the people who are with me know the location of my bug out location and fall back bug out location. Not one person in my family knows except my mother and thats because she agrees with me about what i believe is coming. I keep it all on the down low even the guy i buy my ammo from thinks i shoot at the range twice a week. hahahahaah! 😈 I have had to tell one person who i did not want to (exwife) due to the fact that my 5 year old son dose not live with me. he lives an hour drive from me so I had to tell im if anything was to happen stay at mommys house and i will come get you. I quize him on it every week i have him. my other two boys are with me all the time so I dont worry about them.
