For all inclusive systems in the Ottawa area, I would recommend OSP (Ottawa Solar Power). I've done some work with them in the past, and I'm impressed with their first-rate products and workmanship.
I don't say this to advertise for them - just as a service to any preppers seeking reliable solar power for the long term. Not all solar companies provide equal quality. http://ottawasolarpower.com/osp2012/home.htm
Another local company I have been following is Ontario-based Electrovaya. They've been working on lithium ion polymer energy storage systems. Their consumer line is interesting, but their main market is large scale grid storage. I'm hoping they'll develop an affordable battery storage system for the individual off-grid home.
