Hey Folks..
I am giving a good mull on plans for the bigger summer Ottawa and area summer meet.. more info on that will be coming.. but I am mulling the idea of having two information sessions in the morning, our normal potluck and a hands on build afternoon project.
But its all still in the think stage..
However spring is coming..
Would folks be interested in a general spring lunch meet- visit- seed and or plant swap? That would take place in Ottawa proper..
Also.. just throwing it out there.. We have a number of regular women preppers in our area.. Do we want to consider a ladies lunch out? no goals other then to visit, chat about prepping an such?

I am thinking towards the end of april for the approx. lunch get together, in central Ottawa, at our normal spot across from Costco
While lots going on behind the scenes and formal announcement's will be coming at a later point

I think a get together would be great. I have little to no actual experience with becoming a prepper so it would be nice to meet others and get hands on thoughts and advice. Right now i'm doing a major purge of my place. Taking a minimalist stand. I've become way too conscious of the world around us and what it does and doesn't need. Took a long time to grab and hold, but I hope better late than never... So once I purge then i'll start working towards starting the ongoing prepper project.

Thanks for the kick.. spring has been crazy for both myself and Adegio, so we needed the reminder.. We put our heads together and gave the eye to the calender and we have locked it down to May 27th.. I hope you will be available for that date.

Yes I'm sorry I had my message all typed up and my computer decided it was time for an update and restart. Yes we going to have a meet at the Swiss Chalet at 1899 Cyrville Road, at 11:30 am. Its across from the Costco. We usually try to have a hat or a balloon on the table to identify ourselves to new members. I hope that day works for most and we can get a few members out on that day. See you then....
I forgot to mention that it would be nice to get confirmation of those who think they might be able to make it. This way we can get a large enough table. You can post on the board or send myself or farmgal a pm.
