Just when I think I’ve seen it all I’m amazed all over again at how delusional some preppers can be. No wonder people think people like us are crazy. Especially if anyone has a chance to see a prepper called Amanda. Amanda and Scott moved to a house in Carolina only to discover that Amanda has special powers to receive the guidance from a (ghost?/spirit?) named Greta. Greta has instructed them to prepare for comet that’s going to hit the earth. Amanda receives Greta’s information through a trance-like state and writing down her commands on queue cards.

There is a fine line between an intelligent person that prepares and a delusional person with a mental disorder in the prepping world. I can't imagine what the boys at Practical Preppers thought when they reviewed this for NatGeo....

Every once and a while Doomsday Preppers actually airs something that might be of value. You have to remember that the producers of the show readily admit that is targeted to entertainment not education. That boils down to ratings and money.
I can't imagine any prepper telling the world about their preps and inviting the wrath of LEO's and the gobermint.
Give your head a shake people all you will get is 13 minutes of TV fame and trouble.

I had the same problem once...then I had my NSAID meds cut by 30mg per dose...no more Leprechauns!
I am sensing a little ridicule even prejudice toward gnomes and leprechauns. These little people can be valuable members of your group once they are trained. Not an easy task as many of them are quite ornery. They don't eat much so don't need much room for their preps and are masters of invisibility for forward OP's.

Yes these roaming gangs can be a real problem. Up here the north we round them up, also not an easy task, and feed them to the chickens. You just need to use the appropriate bait. They always fall for our home grown diminutive Mata Hari.
