just started reading X-Events by John Casti and got Patriot by James Rawles from the library this week. Getting used to the tech side of the way Casti writes. Anyone read either?

haven't read X events, is it fiction?
i've read all of Rawles books, patriots was great, his follow up was good. . . and his non fiction stuff was very good.

try to find "one second after" by William R. Forstchen another worth while fiction. . .

thanks for input and extra books to add to list, Entopy X-Events is non-fiction by a "complexity theorist" The science lingo is a bit tough to get thru. I am enjoying Patriots, little yeah-gotta do that still moments with what I've read so far.

Z.A. Recht - Plague Of The Dead

Deathlands series by James Axler
Lucer’s Hammer
The Road by Cormac McCarthy (i'd rather kill myself then read this crap again! movie wasn't bad. . . IIRC)
Resistance by Daniel Kella
Cold Plague by Daniel Kella
Pandemic by Daniel Kalla (loved it)
On the beach by Nevil Shute (pretty bad )
Earth abides by George Stewart
Alas Babylon by Pat Frank
The last centurion by John Ringo (interesting writing style)
World Made by hand by james howard kunstler (extremely good)
The Fountainhead by Ayn Rand
One second after by William R. Forstchen (great read)
Patriots: surviving the coming collapse by James Wesley Rawles (one of the best reads)
Survivors: a novel of the coming collapse by James Wesley Rawles (not as good as patriots. . .)

i haven't read them all, and i haven't listed the "classic" like animal farm, or lord of the flies. . . all are part of my "fiction" library. . . the books above are actually EOTW type books. . . for the most part.
