Hi All,
Just wanted to let you know about a great event I attended yesterday. It was run by Karen Stephenson http://www.ediblewildfood.com/about.aspx . It was a 2 hour long event up at Roger's Conservation Area in Aurora. She spent about 2 hours with us passing on a huge amount of knowledge. What was funny was we barely walked more than a hundred yards from the parking lot! In just that tiny area there were so many useful edible plants.

She'll be doing another hands on education walk with the "The United Survivalist Network Of Ontario" Meetup that I belong to on Sat. Sept. 22 in the Steeles and Kipling area. It's $10 and includes a field guide she's put together of about 30 types of wild edible food.
