Any idea who sells driven well point items in Canada? I also need to find a Canadian supplier of a barrel stove kit (double barrel as well).
So easy to find on American sites. They do not ship anything for wells that enter the soil line it seems. The double barrel stove kit I found in the USA and it came to double the cost of the item once shipping is included.
Any links would be appreciated.
At one time you could get them from home depot. They sell them on amazon to. You could build your own. They are very easy to make.

The double barrel stove kit is for indoor use. Do you have links or plans to a site for the stove? Amazon sells both items but do not ship either to Canada. Amazon.ca does not have much for hard goods.
Just links to American sites. I am having a real pain of a time finding both those things online that are in Canada. Water wells here for just the drilling and casing is 55 dollars a foot for small diameter and 165 for large. That is ridiculous since the thing can dry up 30 years from now or tomorrow. I guess I will do rain water as best as I can. Funny how I can literally buy everything to drill a well on Amazon.com but all I get on the subject on .ca is frigging books. Yup, you can read about it, but be damned if you can do it. Our online community is limited for purchases and it sucks.
Thanks for your suggestion BTW.
what type of soil do you have and how deep[ are you going?
Cabela's have single and double barrel stove kits
sand with sand, some coal and then more sand. Our neighbor went 50'. I heard wellpoints can only go 20-25' but plenty of forums call BS on that one. I saw a 1 1/4" pump rated for 435gph at 60' online.
I found this site.

I typed in WELL WATER SUPPLIES CANADA in large font. Small font gave me absolutely nothing. Maybe Canadian suppliers need people that are pissed off in order to find their sites.
Cabelas.com does.
I have put wash point wells into that depth. They go in easy if the soil is sandy. Just get a wash/sand point, ssome galvanized well pipe. You can wash it in using a 2" water pump. Not sure what you have for local water & sewer suppliers there but its all common stuff. We install them for cabins alot.
I tried a little experiment yesterday with success. I drilled a 2" ABS pipe down 12' so far. Once I get to the water table is where I think the real time spent will be. I am thinking about using air to lift sludge out from the well. I want to go about 15-20 feet into the table so I am not screwed during the dry season.
As I have said I have really sandy soil. I actually used an angle grinder to make teeth on my ABS pipe and started drilling the ABS pipe into the ground with a 6.5 amp 1/2" drill. I bought an end cap and fastened a bolt through it and attached the drill. From what I understand I have another 8-12 feet to go before hitting the table. I will try and get some photos up this weekend if anyone is interested. I got down 9' in less than an hour. I may do a shallow well near the pond since it gets water at 4' weeping from the soil. Start small and then tackle the well on top of the hill that would be inside my lean to.
What is the name of the actual engine and jetting system called for jetting a well? I think I want to buy one so I have it on hand for future projects.
Any reasonable capacity pump can be used to jet a well. You will need to deliver about 40psi for sand and up to 150psi for clay or gravel. You will also need a large supply of water to run through the pump. I have a Honda Wn 20 gas powered pump that would be ideal for this kind of job. I bought it second hand a few years ago for a few hundred dollars. It has been extremely reliable. With up t0 1100 liters per minute (at no head) and 1000 liters per minute at a 33ft head it really moves water!
