Sometimes I like to poke around on MLS and other sources to find out what properties are out there and after reading One Second After I realize an ideal BOL truly must be isolated. I found this one on MLS and to me it looks like a dream if one was properly set up to have their own seeds/garden, chickens, other farm animals,. Remote, access only by 4x4, ATV, or helicopter, huge property, price is cheap, it says off the grid. A fresh flowing source of water would need to be confirmed and the house and buildings probably need to be fixed up after being vacant for that long, but hell, for that price I'd do it. Am I right that this is an ideal property?

I'd make a trip in and investigate the property if I were you and if it is everything it seems to be, jump on it.

I recently left BC for Central Canada, looking at that property I'm drooling.

Check it out. If you can afford it, do it. Looks like a great investment 🙂

Funny I came across that one too while looking closer to Hagensborg and Bella Coola for community and infrastructure such as a hospital .
There has been some issue with occasional flooding in those valleys causing damages and cutting off access and grid power down. Might not affect that property but access in flooding or heavy snow might make access a bigger issue year round than in ideal summer conditions . Coastal areas receive some of the heaviest rainfalls and most cloud cover in BC. Certainly game and fishing make it attractive as well as the price .

I would talk to the realtor who should provide disclosure if you ask the right questions .

If it's been abandoned for ten years why is the grass so short? I leave my grass unattended for six months and it's waist high.
