I am wondering if from a prepper point of view, if a prefab factory made garage has possibilities for our various needs.
I can not see how much they might cost though.

Some of them could store alot of supplies, the type that can withstand heat / cold .
Some of them have lofts and windows.
Some of them are solid walls , good for hiding a ready to go loaded BO vehicle boats, other equipment.

About 10 years a go, a cousin of mine built one from Home Hardware. The original purchase was $10,000.00 he said. He had to build it himself(with friends help) from their supplied kit. This included 1 window, entrance door, 2 bay doors, siding, rafters, shingles. The garage was 20'x 24'. The landscaping and concrete pad cost him almost the same. He added another exterior door and an interior one, another window and built a small shop beside 2 stalls. Wired and insulation brought him up to $30,000.00 with a poured sidewalk.
