Hey I just wanted to get people's feedback on the commercial foil pouches used in emergency kits. They say they are good for 5 years and beyond as no light or air is able to penetrate the package. Let me know your thoughts! 🙂

Water never really "goes bad". Glass or stainless bottles will keep the water just fine, probably taste just as bad as from a bag after 5 years but it will still be wet and safe to drink.

The foil packs are easy to pack into a BOB, vehicle, etc. for emergency use. They are great but other options are better for long term bulk storage.
