Seems when i hit google maps it showed me something different then everyone else. It showed me the covered area was to the left as i stated in the directions. A right off vic trail then a left off that road. One other person did find my truck and me.. we had a good chat for 2 hours.

I bust my a** driving for an hour and a half through rush hour traffic, with a stalled semi on the yellowhead.... so I take a detour, get lost, end up at kuhlman's, finally find the 'canopied' picnic area and NOBODY is there? And all this after a 3 hour root canal, and 2 T3's in me?

I think I'd blame the T3s for not working well. Cuz if I had 2 of those in me, I'd be having a ggggreeaat time regardless of the situation.

aw, that is to bad that you got there and then missed the folks at a slightly different spot, that has happened a few times at meets all over the country, if? you guys have meet before, and you have cell phones, do consider switching emails, that way, he could have contracted you and you would have been able to connect..

The worst one I have ever had was drove two hours for meet, and I sat at the Tim's on one end of the entry into the town and they sat at the tims off the highway on the other end of the town, both of us thinking that the other stood each other up.. thankfully, before driving all that way home again, I asked if there was another tim's and was able to catch them just before they left..

I have taken to providing a google map with the location, if its out of the way, I use balloons, and if its at a coffee shop or lunch meet for a meal, I use a hat.. both of those seems to help a great deal..

Should we try to have a gathering in Edmonton this time? two weeks notice? At a Timmies? Would anyone show? last meet was three people. this time aim for five or more?

Hoss at this point it looks like it would be you and me... I was hoping a few others would have spoke up.

Be patient. Do the 2-person meet and then try again. It took the Calgary area group a while as well.
Also, keep in mind that sept-nov is 'rabbit' season so you may have trouble getting people together for a while.

Dangphool is right.. between school getting back in the swing, hunting, and gathering the garden and fruit from trees.... This is a very busy season...

IF someone in Edmonton wants to set something up i will show up if time permits. I tried twice to get a handfull of people together.. I will pass the choice of everything off to someone else to try...
