Will be back home in ontario for the next ones, I will see how mom is doing, surgery on 4th, home 7th or 8th, so trying to get a few hours off on the 9th is really tricky, but mom says that if all is well, we can get someone to stay with her so only time will tell..
On the other hand, figure if I miss the 9th, I will get a week or two under the belt for mom in recovery and then I think I might take a drive down to the new big mall cross iron mills and just send out a coffee invite on the list and see if anyone wants to get together and meet me in person 🙂

directions to timmies in cochrane
take hwy 22 north from hwy 1
cross the bow river in cochrane and take your first left( no lights there at westrock road)
go west one block and take your right (at the smitties)
this is westside dr
go north on westside dr until you see the sign on your right
dairy queen shares the parking lot and a+w is down the street
from hwy 1a crowchild trail
west until you come down the big hill into cochrane
proceed west until you come to hwy 22 lights turn left
proceed south on hwy 22 to the next set of lights (quigley drive) turn right onto quigley
get into the left lane asap because the next lights turn left onto westside dr and its about 100m on your left

I walked around the parking lot looking for folks that looked like they might be preppers. What the hell do preppers look like, by the way? Anyway, I asked a few people if they were preppers. They politely shook their heads and stared at me like I was about to tell them all about "The Lord, Jesus". I then went to the motel across the street and down a bit to borrow their wi-fi hotspot. Once I logged on to this site, I realized I am a week early. Good thing I only came from Calgary. So, if anyone needs directions, I can help you...I have been there!
