This is it, the forecast is for snow and below 0 temps by the weekend. Time to wrap up the gardening. Speaking of which with all the steady rain I had a bumper crop of potato's all of them large with a few as big as 850 grams, that's 1.9 pounds...for a single potato!

K peppercorn 3 yrs i ran heat and fridge and cooking off propane. 122 bottles at 20 pounds. So a total of 2240 lbs in total. So about 4270 bucks per yr at 35 a bottle. Going to set up each system off its own line to bottles next yr. To break down how many bottles for each system. Also that is no cooking on fireplace or firepit. Trust me my women bitch all 3 yrs over it lol. Wait till she finds out what the things to test out for next 3 yrs have a few ideas

Term0shad, That cost you gave has been rattling around in my noggin. Something just sounds not right. I don't use propane for heat but I know people who do, I am just going from memory here but one guy south of me has one of those large tanks you see in some country yards I think it is a 600 or more hundred gallon tank (maybe 800). He has a propane heater that heats the back half of his older trailer all winter off this tank I am sure he was telling me the cost is a steady 700 a year to fill and a charge of 12-15 dollars a month for the tank rental.

Now my neighbour to the east of me built herself a little cabin 12x16 with a second story loft. She has two 400 pound pigs filled at the start of winter I believe she said it was 500-600 dollar charge to fill and a 50 dollar a year charge for each tank. So at worst 700 a year for heat and cooking propane all winter.

Your high, really high. I mean in money costs!
