We've had meetings over the last year, not quite monthly. Watch for any other gatherings as spring approaches.
I'm hoping we do more 'strategic' meetings as well this year where we can focus on an activity such as alternative methods of cooking or heating, discuss gear etc.

Watch for any postings or try to arrange for a casual gathering yourself. See who is interested, that's how we started them last year.

Well spring is just around the corner and its time to have a get together.....We have New Members and its time we meet them....I hope our group can bring some of there toy's, I my self will bring the Bug out Jeep so New members and beginners can get some Ideas....
So our First meeting for 2013 will be in Calgary at the flight observation parking lot on McKnight Blvd....it is located in the corner of 15st and Aviation rd NE....
Which is about half a km east of Deerfoot tr.....google map...and scroll east of Deerfoot and you will find it.......

This meeting will take place on April 7/13....At 1:00 pm...... The rally point will be My silver 2 Door Jeep.....I will keep an eye on the weather and if it is not going to co-operate I will post here, the morning of the meeting, plan B.......or just cancel for a different date......See everyone there........

Help is never far away.

We are all at different levels of preparedness. A lot is determined by location, interest, time and mostly your budget. So do not feel overwhelmed by the amount of information out there.

The most important thing is that you do something. Most of us look at it as a hobby, then it becomes fun.

Hope to get there to see you guys again. Got a new bug out vehicle but its got some "bugs". Anybody super wise with the old 350 small blocks, Chevy 4x4, 1974? Having some carburator issues. If you are a pro, want to make a buck or three and confident you can solve my issues give me a hollar. Then together we can get my toy to the meeting too. 🙂
