Just an FYI for Calgary region;

There is an open house in Inglewood on Mother's Day that is full of a bunch of long-haired hippy types 😀 who will be putting on demonstrations related to sustainable urban agriculture and permaculture concepts.

I have not been to this before but I'm going to try and make it down to see what knowledge they have to share (my mother is 18 hours away anyway).

It is called The Area, http://thearea.ca/ The event is called "Urban Aggie Days" but the website isn't very descriptive. I heard about it in an interview on the CBC where they provided more details than the website 🙄

They will have a bunch of family-friendly events, as well as adult-level speakers on hand apparently.
