If it looks like a gun, shoots like a gun, kills like a gun... Its a gun.
See you all after.
It was def just the ammo for my cz even just looking at it the ammo looked dirty and I always clean my firearms after shooting. I do have a friend in the RCMP I told about it and they arnt considered a firearm from what was told. It was the webley and ya it was .455 caliber or something like that but could also use the .45 acp. Still I do agree with having more info and RCMP dont have photographic memories of every law I just found it interesting
A flint lock is a gun and they are as old as you can get, if it sends a projectile down a tube by an explosive charge it is considered a gun.. Buddy is full of crap...ITS A GUN......
Better to have it and not need it; then to need it and not have it...
I could be wrong as the laws do change, but when I got my P.A.L. About 9 years ago, crossbows were considered an unrestricted weapon. You may need this to get a crossbow.
Nope...
Although I do have my PAL, I bought a [sweet] Crossbow just a couple months ago without being asked for any ID. Only thing is though, due to their power and accuracy, you cannot hunt with them (as I was informed by the salesman) during bow season, but only during regular season. Any Bow hunters able to elaborate or correct me?
GM.
Sorry I didnt word it right of course it is a gun lol (man touchy guys!) but it was made before 1898 so it is an antique and as such does not require a license and can be transported in your vehicle
An unarmed man can only flee from evil, and evil is not overcome by fleeing from it.
An 1863 Navy Colt is made before 1898, just try buying one without a restricted PAL. I have a friend who has a Springfield carbine that was made in 1873 that they haven't even made ammo for in the last 100 years. He needed a PAL to buy it. About the only gun you can buy without a PAL is a muzzleloading, flintlock.
Those who are unwilling to defend freedom, will become unfree.
Shit, I think I have a couple boxes of that white winchester ammo in the cabinet... I haven't used it yet but thus far, my cz 75 has also been quite reliable.

That is absolutely correct. Unless you are disabled and get cleared that way. No idea what that all entails and the hoops that must be jumped thru but for us every day folks crossbows are only allowed to be used for hunting during the regular rifle season.
