No one ever responded to me on this thread.
Historically, there hasn't yet been a good response from Edmonton area for an organized meeting. All you can do is try to set one up in a neutral location and see who shows up to talk.

Yeah I'm starting to notice people in Edmonton want a meeting but no one wants to grab the bull by the horns and take charge it kind of reminds me of sheep farming lol

a year later is there an edmonton group?
I'm sure there are groups in Edmonton, but attempts on this site and others to recreate the success of what has taken place in Calgary have not been well received.
I hope some public meetings can take place. I am not part of any groups in Calgary, but have been able to form friendships and lines of communications as have other people. I learn great things at every meeting and each time, new preppers get a boost in some way from the incredible contributors to those efforts.
Hmmm, maybe I should rethink the quiet part...
