Edmonton Alberta survival group?

well, maybe I'll take that bull by the horns in sept. after things get in to routine with kids back to school. people can let me know if they are interested. I'd really like to meet some people with various skills and do some learning!

I'll be travelling to Edmonton this coming week. Aug 17th to 20th.
If anyone wants to meet for coffee at the Cabela's Tim Hortons or something one evening?

I can give some advice on how we got started in Calgary.

You'll get more traction if you start a new thread with the date and purpose in the Title, such as,

"Aug 31st West Edmonton Get Together"

Then toss in some ideas for conversation, ice-breakers into the thread. See if people bite at the opportunity.

I could probably swing by there after work, but I might be a few minutes late.

I'd kind of hope that at least 3 or 4 people were there, or it might be a bit awkward. Plus, greater chance of the thing folding with even a single no-show.

I'll monitor the board and see if interest picks up over the weekend...
