Hi Guys,
As some of you know, while currently in Ontario, this farmgal was raised in Alberta and that is where all my family still lives, I heard that there was Freezing rain and power outages in central alberta yesterday, so any of you effected, did you get to try out your preps? Not that often I hear of the freezing rain, was expecting them to tell me it was a snow storm.. A cousin said they had tree's coming down, anyone else have damage?

We were without power from about 11:30 - 5:30 yesterday with a couple times of it coming back on for about half an hour throughout. We did use our generator to have a few things going. It was a good run for the generator and we are very glad that we added it to our preps this year. Didn't have any trees down, but it was a freezing fog all day with rain. Quite slippery around here.
Had about 1/8" of ice on the truck this morning. Was thinking about snagging a curling rock and firing it down mainstreet.
