I may know someone in the Lethbridge area, if he still makes knives. I could give him a call and see if he's able to take a look at yours.

Duffman,
Do you own a bench grinder??? If you do, go to LeeValley and purchase a buffing wheel that fits your bench grinder and buff it. Take your time, and it should return the lost luster.
Mountainman.
Hey mountain buffing isn't the issue there's scratches from the bleach that I tried to sand out hey didn't you use to blacksmith lol and tax please see if your friend could help

Duffman,
LOL, blacksmith rookie. Made a few knives in my day. Spend many hours with emery cloth slowly replacing scratches from grinding into a mirror polish. You had better take up Taz's offer to have his friend check out your blade.
Or, you could use this as an excuse to take a trip Down Under to get some service work done!! 🙂
Cheers,
Mountainman.
I'll figure out something but the grinding wheel idea will help if Icahn do it

you would need to use some kind of metal polishing compound with the buff... i think lee valley is more oriented to polishing wood... princess auto or auto body places are more for metal... if bench grinder not available there are buff atachments that you can use with a hand drill.

Go to an autobody place and get some ultrafine sand paper , start around 250grit and work your to 3000grit and then buff. I promise it will shine , and put a little flitz polish on the buffing wheel. You can do it yourself.
Hey thanks sadden didn't know that
