At the beginning of the thread it was said that you got this knife from the "Crocodile Dundee Movies". If this is THE knife from these movies and you want to maintain the value and collectability you may want to deal with someone who is a professional in knife repairs. If not then go wild.

Hey everyone just wanted to let you know I took a lot of your advice and fixed the knife and now I feel like I'm gonna get back into knife making, tomahawks, swords whatever I really learned how much I miss black smithing and knife making so anyone think its a good idea to do it again

You said you "really learned how much I miss blacksmithing and knife making" .. so I think you have answered your own question. You can do it for the skill building.. for self reward... or for financial gain... or all 3...LOL. Perhaps post a few pics of your past work and you may get interest from the forum.

Thanks jab after we get moved ill post some stuff I'm wanting to get at least 50 to 100 items to give people a choice of things also if anyone has any pictures of stuff they would like made or think are cool please add as many pictures as you can so I can build more stuff my first one will be the rambo 2 knife
