Hi everybody, I'm new to this site. I'm wondering if there are any other "Preppers" in the Bonnyville/Cold Lake area? I would be interested in getting together with like minded people to build a bit of a network to survive any SHTF incidents.
A bit about myself. I, like many others on this site, am ex military. 10 years in the infantry and 7 as a firefighter. So I have great survival skills, along with weapons training, organizational skills, and medical training. I hope there are others in my area that are interested in possibly getting together for some meetings and look forward to learning from others on this site.
Isn't Cold Lake just a convenient place to store your drink cubes? lol, joking of course, welcome to the site...load of great info here and an occassional smart *ss comment.

Cold lake is where you can land a couple of lake trout (or even one giant) big enough to feed a family of 4 for a week if you have enough skill and a damn big lure!
You sound like one hell of an asset to any prep group Gunner. If you lived way farther south I'd be touching base with you for certain.

Nice to meet you. I'm also from the lake land area and interested in meeting up with other like minded individuals. I've been prepping for several years now and also have many years of cf experience. I'm on my 15 th year in the cf between army and airforce trades. I hope to hear from you in the future.

I've been meaning to get a membership there. Is it a good gun club? I used to go the range out the back gate on base, but unless it's summer or you have a UTV or quad, it's pretty tough to get to in the winter time, and they don't take very good care of it. I'd certainly be interested in getting together. I live in St. Paul, but work around Bonnyville, Cold Lake, and the air weapons range. I'm a mobile structural welder/fabricator with some a bit of pipefitting experience. I'm also a former EMT and computer technician. Got a good start on stores, pretty good bushcraft knowledge, love to shoot!

I am in the Lloydminster area. I get over there sometimes . Been Prepping now for a number of years. I owned my business, was a structural engineer for years, millwright, was a first responder firefighter for 8yrs, spent 5yrs in the US with a private military. Would be glad to meet up
