Recce, as you have some survival training I would suggest you go back to 'the rule of 3' and prepare based on that. Face it, if your water needs are not met for 3 days your food supplies for 3 weeks later just don't matter, and so on.

A rule of thumb I use is "when it's on deep sale buy double what you need". You would be surprised at how soon the cupboard starts to sag and the doors don't close quite the same.

Cheers,
BTR

They're = They're going to the mall.

Too = That's too bad.

My advice is: Stay Organized...As best you can...You will likely end up with a lot of "stuff"...such as food, and non food items...Do your best to stay organized so that you know where everything is and how to use what you have...Remember the can opener 🙂 🙂 🙂

I've found an excellent food storage calculator online that I like to use...I like it for many reasons...You can start small...one month supply...then go from there...

http://foodstoragemadeeasy.net/babysteps/step-4-long-term-food-storage-planning/

This is the excel spreadsheet I use to keep track of my food storage...Be sure to go through the very informative tutorial...I like that you can add and delete and it calculates everything for you.

Hope you like it...!

Have fun Prepping!!!

Rain 🙂

It wasn't raining when Noah built the Ark.....
