The soaker hose works REALLY well.... you can set it up as drip irrigation.

Can't be talking about Denob at all, I think he sneeks around at night peeing on his property line, wearing his had, pulled low for disguise!
ps. I have a similar hat and do the same thing, on my property as well.

Just marking my territory!

Unfortunately due to high elevation, short growing season and wild critters, my garden is but limited.

But I'll trade you for beef, tibetan yak, lamb or chicken meat....

I put a 5' x 10' raised bed garden in this year as a test plot. Plumbing the waters on a number of levels. No interest from the authorities and no intrusion from passers by. Plus it's doing quite well. So far so good.

Hey, just curious what you meant by plumbing... do you have any pics?

we're starting to dig some holes next week as we are on a steep incline and have to build staggered planter boxes and we will be using permaculture techniques such as gravity fed watering from the roof etc.

Also, at our last place, we built up the flower beds 2-3 feet with 24" of that being topsoil and sheep manure etc. I put a soaker hose in at 6" depth and it too worked like a charm. (as long as we remembered to turn it back off...) 😳

LOL....sorry... "Plumbing the waters"... testing the waters. I built it in my front yard so wanted to see the reaction both official and unofficial. I have the soaker hose on top of the soil between rows and the flow is set to just drip irrigate. It keeps it moist but not wet. That way I don't have to worry about turning it on or off.
