Yes, I have been Buggie...well, as much as they will tell us at least!! Bearing in mind that the global media are all controlled as to what and how much they can say and release. From experience we know that just because you don't hear much about something on the news or through other media, does not mean it isn't going on or it won't happen. Would probably be the last minute before the public got wind of what was really happening if it did eventuate with disasterous consequences. I imagine all nations have their fingers hovering over the big red button right now...

The North Kors are more in your neighbourhood than mine (western Canada) but really I don't think the N.Ks are too much of a danger themselves. BUT!! - they are playing a dangerous and rather stupid game.

tough to say what will really happen. all I know is that there are global powers at play, and when that happens, all bets are off. we only "know" what is being said to us, so it is tough to make a call based on the news. However, I think that what we can all agree on is that the movers and shakers of the world are doing things that can and WILL effect all of us. the best we can do is prepare for the worst and hope for the best. I myself made a trip to basspro this morning to stock up on a few more essentials lol. I dont think that we in our area (alberta and western canada) are in an immediate danger zone for any nuclear or catostophic threat, but the current state of the world should have any person with any common sense in some sort of panic. All i know is that when things start looking bleak... they usually are. Articles like the ones i posted above definatley make me think about what they ARNT telling us.

Not trying to be a fear monger, but it seems like the forums have been a little bit inactive latley. I want to keep people informed the best I can if i hear of anything alarming, and the issues in the korean peninsula definatley raise alarm bells for me.

I think you are correct in your belief that all we can do is prepare for the worst & hope for the best.

The only reason I posted was I saw another poster from New Zealand on the board (cool) and N.K. must be of particular concern to people in that region.

Hi forward, yep you are right.... A very dangerous game. I am constantly astounded at the number of sheeple here who don't even have a clue about what is going on around the world and live with their heads in the sand every day. They seem to think down here in our little corner of the world we are protected from anything bad happening. Just yesterday my husband was talking to a work collegue about NK, Economy, Dec 21 etc... this person didn't know ANYTHING about those things, had never even heard about Dec 21 or felt that economy collapse was possible. All I can say is, I don't want those sort of people around me when the S does HTF.
