Here is the best Bugout Bags Website I've found with excellent pictures and extremely well organized. Am I the only one who doesn't know about this website?

Rain 🙂
It wasn't raining when Noah built the Ark.....
Very nice. I found a similar site last year with a veritable metric freakin' ton of info. I think it's because they use the name "zombie" in their site name that gets them so much activity. lol. Regardless... lots of info as well, including BOB's

BOB specific link is here http://www.zombiehunters.org/forum/viewtopic.php?f=14&t=4103

Sorry but I'll bever go again with military backpacks..... Civilain (The north face, arcterix) are building much better backpacks. Military backpacks su..... for long hikes compared to civilian ones..... I do agree with the content but army's aluminium frame packs are only good to stay in the closet....

What do you think of kifaru?

Cool & good looking. Backpacks must allow hip and shoulders confort and you need to be able to keep THE WEIGHT CLOSE TO YOUR BODY. I see a lot of BOB load with gear hanging on each side..... With small shoulder straps.... As long you have large & strong shoulder straps and a large % confortable hip belt, it's a good start.....
A lot of preppers will find out the hard way that hiking 15 miles a day with a 40 Lbs BOB is a pain in the a$$ when dealing with those packs.... And having stuff hanging outside of the pack just make you looks like a Christams tree. Noisy too. Keep it confortable, tight.
there is a good reason you dont see military packs on Everest expeditions...
Better to have it and not need it; then to need it and not have it...
cause they are too busy being bought up by preppers 😀
See you all after.

LOL, Great sites everyone, I cant believe the amount of info. Thanks for sharing
It actually motivated me to finally get my bags together. Got a car case locked up with gear, got a two day survival bag made up for my 10 yr old daughter, got a overnighter bag that could possibly go 48 hrs for me for hiking and then put together the for life bag that holds gear, food and clothes for me and her. All set up. Now... just to work on the Bug in set up much more.
Figured I would throw up some images of the one bag I did up this weekend... my indefinate bag. I'm not overly concerned with my identity. I'm not a threat to the goverment and not overly easy to locate in the city anyways as I'm mostly still registered in Victoria BC for the most part with my identity. I'm here looking for trust from you guys... not suspicion and fear from you. I have decided that from looking at these pics that I need to drop some inches around that belly of mine. Judge me on that if you will, I clearly deserve it (too much pop). haha
The bag:
Millitary surplus bag with a waist belt attached to it from an old pack I had from a garage sale for $10, On Top is a 2 man tent and self inflating thermal pad in the bag, In bag is 2 pairs of clothes (winter oriented due to time of year now) for me and my 10yr old girl, 4 packs of 2 person dried meals, first aid kit, hatchet, knives, sewing kit, SAS book, Roll of snare wire, Cooking and firestarting gear and a rain poncho, hand held chain saw. Bottom is wool blanket (army surplus) and roll out solar charger. Lowest bag contains smaller wool blanket and bear spray and a dozen zip straps. Not very visible at bottom is large bush knife set up not very visible but easily pulled out sideways by my right hand if needed. Stainless steel water bottle on waist belt. And hanging on back/bottom is water bottle with metal container inside insulated bag. Clipped on the frame of the pack is some carabiners and paracord and a small foldup shovel. Total... about 45 lbs estimate.

If you guys are interested... I can start a thread to show your BOB's like those other sites. Or you can yourself.

I think that would be a great idea, just bags and gear/contents description would help out newbies like me.
