Well spring is just around the corner and its time to have a get together.....We have New Members and its time we meet them....I hope our group can bring some of there toy's, I my self will bring the Bug out Jeep so New members and beginners can get some Ideas....
So our First meeting for 2013 will be in Calgary at the flight observation parking lot on McKnight Blvd....it is located in the corner of 15st and Aviation rd NE....
Which is about half a km east of Deerfoot tr.....google map...and scroll east of Deerfoot and you will find it.......
This meeting will take place on April 7/13....At 1:00 pm...... The rally point will be My silver 2 Door Jeep.....I will keep an eye on the weather and if it is not going to co-operate I will post here, the morning of the meeting, plan B.......or just cancel for a different date......See everyone there........

Hello fellow Preppers, I think it would be great to try and get a few people from up north here to meet some of the people down there. I will make the rounds and see if some friends are up for a road trip.

I've finally got some confirmation in my schedule and we should be able to attend the meeting. Does anyone have any topics that they were interested in bringing up or would like more focused discussion?

Not sure if any of you would be interested but member skyvoxx on the BC page is trying to set up a meet in Revelstoke, BC somewhere between the middle to end of May 2013.
I think it would be good to show support and have a few of us make a trip if we can. For me it will all depend on whether I am working or not. As for the 7th of April I am on a hike with Scouts. If I can make it a quick hike and get to the meet up I will. I will probably be late if I can make it. I would like to make the suggestion of the Petro-can in Aldersyde for a meet up if I could make it. Self-serving I know, and I ask your forgiveness for even making the suggestion.
I hope to make another meet up, sooner than later.

This thread continues to be mysteriously quiet. No sign of any of those new AB/Calgary names we've seen over the last month or two...
If you guys/gals are nervous about showing up or would like to have a planned agenda then let us know what you might be looking for. I know we get a lot of lurkers at the meeting who don't give any notice of their attendance beforehand but with the meeting less than a month away I'm wondering if there is any interest with so little traffic?

If I can get my new (old 74 GMC 4x4) bug out truck running... I will be there. On that note... any of you folks pro's with the old carbs? It runs great at idle, turns to crap when I put it in gear to drive it. Help me make it to the meeting?
