........ "Semper Promptus" it is latin for Always Ready....This is an Idea from One of our members..."gc-mountainman" and I liked it so I made an edit to the post...

Well spring is just around the corner and its time to have a get together.....We have New Members and its time we meet them....I hope our group can bring some of there toy's, I my self will bring the Bug out Jeep so New members and beginners can get some Ideas....
So our First meeting for 2013 will be in Calgary at the flight observation parking lot on McKnight Blvd....it is located in the corner of 15st and Aviation rd NE....
Which is about half a km east of Deerfoot tr.....google map...and scroll east of Deerfoot and you will find it.......

This meeting will take place on April 7/13....At 1:00 pm...... The rally point will be My silver 2 Door Jeep.....I will keep an eye on the weather and if it is not going to co-operate I will post here, the morning of the meeting, plan B.......or just cancel for a different date......See everyone there........

Traveller,

I will be on a hike on the morning of 07 April, which I cannot get out of. I will be late +/- 1400 at the earliest. But I will be there.

Is the location still the same, just off of McKnight Blvd??

I will have some copies of my book in the new smaller format. 5.5" x 8.5". If anyone is interested. Send me a PM.

Cheers,

Mountainman.

I just met with some of the people from the zombie survivalist group (tongues firmly planted in their cheeks) and several of them are still planning on attending. The missus and I should be there right on time (10mins late of course). If it's snowing and cold, we should consider a back-up location out of the wind somewhere nearby.

Does anyone have any topics they wish to cover?

If hubby gets off work early, we might be able to make it. If not, hopefully we'll make it to the next one.

Weather is pretty much how hubby would get off early anyway. Will be staying tuned for the possible change in plans.

Ok Du to Weather concerns and the possibility of having to travel on poor roads I will be cancelling this meeting..Sorry for the inconvenience but I will be rescheduled for an indoor facility for early May ....This will eliminate any weather concerns and give us an opportunity to have a closed area with a strong agenda based meeting....

Stay tuned for updates........
