Hey everyone,
We (my wife, daughter and I) are new to the online prepper community and I must say, it seems that thing this past year have really taken off locally. Its amazing to see that people are finally waking up to the potential risk of something major really going down.
Anyhow, we were curious if there was anyone else out there in the Sundre/Olds area?
Or, any good ideas on prepping for a 1 year old?? I have extensive bushcraft skills, longtime prepping, survival and medical training, but prepping for a toddler has got me beat???
Welcome to the forums. There is a lot of helpfull info on here and many people who may be able to. Assist in your prepping journey. I don't kknow of any members in the olds area off hand, but I'm sure there will be a few. Good luck with your search, I look forward to reading your input on the forums.
See you all after.
Hi there,
As soon to be new parents this has come across our minds as well. We plan on keeping organic jarred baby foods, baby aspirin, a few small toys, extra heat blankets, a more extensive medical kit, further CPR training. Also have little winter jackets and boots to keep little ones warm.
If you already are preppers, you're good to go its just those few things that came to mind right away. Take care! Hopefully you never have to bug out.
Welcome Voice of Reason and greetings from Northern Ontario.

We asked much the same question when we started prepping. Our daughter is 7 going on 8 now. We came to the conclusion the best way to prep for a little child is to take your already existing concerns and exaggerate them. Keeping them warm/dry; medicines & cold packs for colds & fever ect.
The only other thing I could add is in planning. If something terrible comes on the news and the SHTF then who goes in gets the child from school? Where do you meet up if there is no phone service ect ect.
