I enjoyed the Jesse Ventura shows.Did he stop voluntarily or was he coaxed to stop the shows? Some were pretty controvercial.The one about the fema camps and the coffins gets me thinking.There was one about the 20,000 russian troops in The US incognito.I mentioned this to Dave Rutherford on one of his shows live and on air.He was shocked to say the least.He asked why they would be there.My answer was;"when the shtf and martial law is forced on the American people,government wasn't sure American troops would fire on their own civilians so they were there to do the job".I had a hard time getting air time after that. Short answer no! The number one rule is never write anything on the internet that you don't want everyone and I mean everyone to see.
As far as computers in general are concerned the only truly secure computer is one that is not connected to the internet and is housed in a Faraday cage underground in a locked room to which only you have the key and absolutely no one else knows of its existence.
Privacy? In short there is not any. It is only the media that tries to make you believe that there is. If you want to send a truly private message use a pigeon! 😀
I was hoping to hear the opposite.What differenca does it make then? Would there be a safe place on this planet? Makes me wonder exactly what the space station is being built for.Thanks for the heads up

Safety is a state of mind, there are no absolutes. I would say that we are lucky enough to live in one of the safest places on the planet.
As far as surveillance goes: People who have nothing to hide, hide nothing.
Forums are a great place to exchange ideas and experiences. We are not planning or discussing anything subversive, criminal or otherwise illegal so why worry who reads the posts?
The reason I mentioned the space station was about an interview Pamela wallin(I think) had with Marc Garneau,our first astronaut.Had to be at least 10 years ago.I will never forget it because of the nonchalant,matter of fact,Q&A they expressed.At the end of the show The host looked at Marc and with a straight face and quiet tone asked; "well why ARE you guys building that thing up there?".He looked at her and with a calm even voice and replied "well,you never know when some big old rock is going to come along." As if to say " there is a big asteroid coming to hit us very soon and we need to be ready for it".As for myself,I'm knocking on the pension plan door so I have lived my live to the fullest.To get a few more years would be a blessing.To be able to spend my time conversing with people like yourself(open-minded) will add to the enjoyment of retirement.If all I get out of this is a few great campouts then mission accomplished.I probably spend too much time in front of the old box on the wrong channels.I am usually at the lake already but medical reasons are keeping me at home for now.Unfortunately at my age (62) visits are starting to take on a more serious reason.All thanks to a drinking driver.Good luck with your health.I am still prepping,there is family and friends to think of.I read that many in this network are prepping for more than just themselves even though they are single and alone.I am noticing that people in this bunch seem to be a caring sort.
