Replacing more tools and if you plan on being able to fix anything you need high security bits, so I picked up 2 sets. when you are in a elevator look at the button panel and you will see funny looking screw heads, same if you look at a toaster, or a blender. Screws are used that have a head that ordinary screw drivers wont work on. in the elevator example they don't want someone getting inside for safety reasons, and with the toaster or blender example they don't want you getting in to fix it ( or just as likely see how bad its constructed) These are cheap, both on sale at Princess Auto in Edmonton something like 10 bucks each. If you have hex and tork bits just get the blue set the other set has these bits included, though the blue set has 3 bits that the yellow set hasn't......maybe buy both to cover everything
In to Edmonton Friday, off to the liquidation place on saint albert trail...checking to see if they still carry the mk line of cross bows as I lost two of those in the fire, I wont be buying just making sure they still carry them for when I am ready to buy.Now I have been making enquires and it looks like this is a great time to be buying tools, with lots of projects shut down equipment is being sent off to auctions. Instrumentation techs have been hit real hard, and lots of them are selling off their fluke equipment. Im looking for a fluke 87, a 179, a 337, and then a scope...I want more but that's the basics if I can find these parts for good pricing over the next few months I will be happy...I just missed a 87-5, that was on sale for 100.00.

Well its looking like I am getting my mojo back.....I go out to look at a lathe some guy is selling, I walk into his garage and forget all about the lathe........it my long lost twin brother, I cant believe it, his garage is set up like my shop was....but even better I got to see a hand built 3d printer, a chicom lazer cutter table, a larger hand built by him custom lazer xy and z table for cutting wood and plastics, a complete manufacturing facility for circuit boards...and much much more, and I didn't bring my camera 😳 We spoke geek for a while, ,made a deal for the lathe, and he had a spare silly scope that he gave me 😮 ...Christmas came early.....
My new to me Oscope, (20 meg hrz)
My new to me Lathe, a Southbend. Picture (from the net) of the model I bought, actual lathe needs a good cleaning and some lip stick.
I pick it up this weekend. What did I pay you wonder.....about what 8 bricks of 22 cost( or what 2 trailer loads of scrap metal is worth). Not a piece of plastic on it anywhere!!!!! with a 3.5 foot bed
