I usually go for a walk about in the evening, thought I would snap a few pics.
The above is to the west of me, this is 20 acres it just sold this year, they were asking a little over a hundered for it I expect it closed for somewhere under that, looks like a cat has been in and is clearing a building sight........a very private piece of land.
The pic below is still to the west but 1km north.
The pic below is facing east

This pic is from a week or 2 ago before the leaves blew off. I am standing 1km north of my place, on a ridge, looking back toward the house. My place is the dark spot dead center of the pic. (my zoom didn't work)

Beautiful place, nice bluffs 🙂
Beautiful pictures Peppercorn.
Absolutely lovely location you have there Peppercorn, very beautiful
Thanks for sharing peppercorn.
Thanks, you cant imagine how hard its been to leave this to go work for the man for the last 24 years. One more pic. I had to go up on the roof to check out the chimney. I snaped a pic looking south.that water is almost dried right up, it was a couple acres in size for the first ten years, and attracted all kind of game. I only have a few spruce trees south of the house and keep them trimmed short so they don't block the sun in the winter

Very nice Peppercorn! Curious about the water and why it dried up. All natural or did you intervene at some point?
Its all natural as its been since I bought the place, no excavation at all, or cullverts added. thick clay under nieth so it not leaking away. I just think a little less snow overtime I little less rain,or a lot less like this year, 4 to 5 inches less. Throw in even a little higher temperture and evaporation losses compound.
